A number of events have taken place since then where the new kitchen has been used.

Official hand over from the Architect and the builder took place in March 2006.

Architect: George Denny. MA RIBA Dip Arch (Cantab) of Elmstead, Kent.

Contractor - R.Flisher Limited of Dymchurch, Kent.

Project Completed March, 2006
This project to construct a kitchen and toilet facility for persons with disabilities was completed thanks to major fund raising from The Friends of All Saints' Church, a contribution from the Kent County Council, and generous donations from Culra, Appleton and Newlyn Trusts, Marshalls Charity, Staplehurst Parish Council,All Saints' Bellringers, and many parishioners and members of this and other churches in Staplehurst.

This work would not have begun so soon if it had not been for the many generous donors to the project, and grants made by the Parish Council, County Council, the Friends of All Saints' and Marshalls Charity to name but a few.

West End Project Proposal

Our West End Project was a plan to build a toilet facility specially designed for use by disabled people, together with a kitchen to support the increasing range of activities in the church. Many of these are part of the life of the village and some attract visitors from outside Staplehurst. Permanent catering facilities will help to make these occasions even more welcoming.

In the course of a year these events include:
All age workshops Concerts
Parish Breakfasts School Services
Baptisms Weddings
Funerals Carol Services
Remembrance Sunday Service Combined Church Services
Harvest Supper Flower Festival
